Where your members' data lives (and why it matters)
By The TeeOS team
When you hand a system your members' names, addresses and payment mandates, you're trusting it with the most sensitive thing your club holds. A fair question to ask any supplier: where does that data actually live?
In the UK, and staying there
TeeOS runs in Google Cloud's London region, with backups kept in the UK. Member data isn't shipped off to a US data centre to save a few pence. It's covered by UK GDPR, and a member's right to be forgotten genuinely works.
Card details you never hold
Payments run through Stripe and GoCardless. Card numbers never touch our servers, our forms or our logs — so they're never ours to lose. It's a deliberate design choice, not an afterthought.
