Privacy notice
Effective 6 April 2026 · TeeOS
This notice explains how TeeOS (“we”) handles personal information on this website. It is short, because this site collects almost nothing.
The short version
- This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking.
- We only receive personal information if you choose to email us.
- We use it to reply — and, if you asked, to keep you posted about launch.
- We never sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who we are
TeeOS Ltd (company number [September 2026], registered office [September 2026]) is the data controller for the information described in this notice — that means we decide how and why it is used. If you have any question about this notice, email privacy@teeos.golf.
What we collect
Email enquiries. If you email us — for early access or anything else — we receive your email address, anything you include in the message, and your name if you sign it.
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested and when — as part of running and protecting the site. We do not combine these logs with your email or use them to identify you.
Cookies and tracking: none. This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics, and contains no third-party trackers, advertising pixels or embedded content. Cloudflare may set an essential security cookie while protecting the site from malicious traffic; it is used solely for security, not tracking, and — like everything else here — requires no consent. That is why there is no cookie banner.
How we use it, and our lawful bases
UK GDPR requires a lawful basis for each use:
- Replying to your enquiry — legitimate interests: you contacted us, and responding is what you would expect.
- Launch updates — if your message asked for early access or launch news, we may send occasional emails about TeeOS’s launch (legitimate interests). Tell us to stop at any time and we will.
- Keeping the site secure — legitimate interests: our host uses its logs to detect and block abuse.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who process data on our instructions — currently our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and our email provider, Zoho Mail. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it's stored
We aim to keep personal information in the UK or EEA. Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical logs may be processed outside those regions; that processing is covered by Cloudflare’s data processing addendum and recognised transfer safeguards, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Any other transfer outside the UK or EEA is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails: while your enquiry is open — and, for early access requests, until launch or until you ask to be removed. Server logs are handled by Cloudflare and retained only for the short periods described in its privacy policy; we do not keep separate copies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it to you in a portable format. You can always object to direct marketing, and we will stop immediately.
To exercise any right, email privacy@teeos.golf. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first, but you are not required to give us one.
Children
This site is aimed at golf club and centre owners, managers, secretaries and committees — not children — and we do not knowingly collect children’s information.
Changes to this notice
If we change how this site handles personal information — for example by adding a sign-up form or analytics — we will update this page first and change the effective date above.
